Tang Shifu @ Tebrau City

21st Apr 2011

I took a day off from work to join 2 of my buddies to Johore Bahru for a day trip. It's been awhile since I last went to Johore Bahru, our neighbouring country where lots of Singaporeans love to cross over on weekends for dining and grocery shopping. We didn't dare to drive in so we took a bus there. I kept complaining to my friend while checking out at Johore custom....lol! I simply don't understand why must we walk such a long distance in order to get out and the route is repeated. You will get what I meant if you happen to go there not by car. Lazy me..! Anyway we went to City Square first as it is linked to the custom. We wanted to go for pedi/manicure but was fully booked till afternoon. So we decided to take a cab to Tebrau City since I never been there before and later come back to City Square for our foot spa. Taxi fare to Tebrau City from City Square was about RM12.

Tebrau City is a mega mall opened in 2006 with Jusco and lots of mid to high end retail shops and restaurants. After browsing through the mall, we decided to have a nourishing lunch at Tang Shifu. Tang Shifu is a popular chain restaurants under YS Group that specialises in herbal soup and dishes.
